Clackamas County Arts Alliance is partnering with Clackamas County Behavioral Health on an important photography project with the goal of breaking down the stigma around suicide.
These portraits are the result of a project that involved photography, filmmaking and the participant’s handwriting. Each participant’s personal experience with suicidal ideation and attempts, revealed during interviews, was essential to the artists’ work.
Come see the 14 portraits of the Ask The Question Project participants and learn more about their stories. The Clackamas County Arts Alliance manages the Artist Exhibit Program which rotates original artwork through 18 galleries in Clackamas County. This is a unique opportunity for experienced and emerging artists who live and/or work in Clackamas County to show their work in public venues. The Arts Alliance is pleased to share the Ask The Question Project in the 2018 – 2020 rotation.
